A public fountain, opened in 1899by Princess Louise, daughter of Queen Victoria. This was intended as a drinking fountain, but it has long since run dry. Used to be popular with mendicant alcoholics, but after they built the roundabout it has become a little less accessible, and tends to be more seen than used.
I am trying to prise myself out of the house at least once a day, so hopefully these photos will be a regular occurrence. At least they give me a reason to venture out!
